PEEK is expensive and its outstanding performance is inseparable. Compared with other resin raw materials, PEEK is mainly in terms of heat resistance, mechanical equipment performance, reliability, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, production and processing performance, etc. The performance is very good, and its key features are as follows:

PEEK is currently one of the thermosetting materials with very good heat resistance. It has a melting point of 343°C and a long-term application temperature of 260°C for UK UL certification. Even when the temperature is as high as 300°C, it can still maintain good mechanical equipment performance. PEEK thermal deformation temperature is 135~160℃, 20% glass fiber increases PEEK thermal deformation temperature to 286℃, and 30% glass fiber increases to 300℃.
Short-term heat resistance: After glass fiber or carbon fiber material is increased, its thermal deformation temperature can be above 300 ℃.

Long-term heat resistance: UL temperature index value (RTI) is 250°C.

Extensibility: It is a very flexible resin. Flame-retardant grade: UL94V-0 (1.5mm), self-extinguishing type, and the amount of smoke emitted when it is ignited is the least of all resins.

Corrosion resistance/chemical resistance behavior: In addition to sulfuric acid, active solvent coatings can corrode it.
High temperature resistance and water solubility (applicable in 200~300℃ steam).

PEEK resin itself has excellent self-lubricating bearings and wear resistance. After filling, the friction resistance of the resin can be reduced to 0.15, and the amount of wear is extremely low. It can complete the lubrication work of the diaphragm vacuum pump. Application in extreme natural environments. PEEK polymer and composite materials have excellent anti-wear properties and are excellent raw materials for rolling bearings.

PEEK has a high decomposition reaction temperature and good circulation at high temperatures, so it has excellent production and processing performance, and can choose a variety of methods to carry out production and processing: injection molding, extrusion molding, compression molding, injection molding, melt spinning, rotational molding , Electrostatic powder spraying, etc.
